Ontology 22-FLFA-ONT
This topic aims to provide knowledge about main problems undertaken by ontology. Moreover, students will be able to read and interpret ontological texts of great philosophers, from Parmenides to Heidegger.
LEARNING OUTCOMES. Upon completion of the course, student will have: the ability to read and understand writings of classics of philosophy which deal with ontology; skills to use properly basic ontological notions and terminology; comprehend and summarize ontological knowledge; compare different ontological systems; prepare in class oral presentation; participation in discussions on ontological problems.
