Geoarchaeology of Central-Eastern and Southern Europe 19-GES-f-SZ-Arch
The course is a conversatory, which assumes a discussion on the basics of geoarchaeology in Central-Eastern and Southern Europe and its research techniques (both fielworksa and laboratory analysis). During the course the students have to make a presentation, basing on the literature, about the leading geoarchaeological projects conducted in the described area. By that students are going to be met with terminology and methodology in geoarchaeology of the region. Moreover, students will make their own stratigraphical drilling in order to describe the sediments within the auger and they are going to interpret the lithological profile.
