South Africa – people and regions 15-APK-PA-11
The aim of this course is to present a demythologised picture of South Africa which in Europe is traditionally perceived as a country of paradoxes, contrasts and exoticism (with respect to tourism, geopolitical and historical situation). The course focuses therefore on facts related to the country’s geography. Elements of culture (in a broad sense) and historical events, which are necessary to understand the specifics of South Africa, are also discussed.
