Week 1: Introduction. Discussion about gifted and talented children and group’s integrity.
Week 2: Basic information about the concept of a gifted and talented child (in the literature, the concept of ability and talent, the concept of the gifted child of learning difficulties).
Week 3: Basic knowledge about creative concept of education. Information about creative task for students.
Week 4: The teacher’s competences of supporting gifted and talented children.
Week 5: The pupil as a gifted or talented child. Characteristics and methods of diagnosis.
Week 6: Identifying gifted children and analysis of available diagnostic tools for gifted children.
Week 7: The selected pedagogical and psychological concepts and methods of creativity and giftedness. Student presentations.
Week 8: Overview of creative methods, forms and ways of working with gifted and talented children (in the context of supporting child’s development).
Week 9: The creative methods and techniques of work with gifted and talented children - an individual and groups work.
Week 10: Planning creative activities for gifted and talented children in education. Work in groups.
Week 11: Conducting creative activities for gifted children. Work in groups.
Week 12: Conducting creative activities for gifted children. Work in groups. Discussion and evaluation.
Week 13: European Union countries perspective of gifted and talented pupils. Presentations.
Week 14: Gifted and talented children in international and multicultural environments.
Week 15: The deadline for submitting creative tasks, evaluation, summary and reflection.
