Elements of numerical methods 06-DEMNLM0
The main goal of the course is provide students with baasic numerical methods, which can be used to solve a variety of applied mathematics problems. Criteria how to choose the proper method in a considered case are also discussed.
Student should learn basic concepts of numerical analysis, use a software tool to solve mathematics problems (to compute the solution to a system of linear equations, to find zeros of a polynomial, to obtain numerical solutions of differential equations) as well as use technology in solving practical problems in his future work.
