The contemporary world can be described by the word ?mobility?. A growing number of people are able to travel for work, pleasure or to change the place of living. The mobility is also closely connected with individual?s social position in society. All these issues furnishing the current globalization, will be investigated, analyzed and discussed during the lecture.

Week 8 Social capital, ethnic enclaves and ethnic minorities’ associations
Week 9 Mobile media as a tool to improve individuals’ mobility.

Week 12 Intercultural communication in the mobile world
Week 13 Migration in contemporary developed world - immigrant incorporation in western societies as an example of migration policy
