History of Polish Public Law 10-HPPL-w-Erasm
The course is addressed to students interested in history of state. The aim of course is to give outlook on Polish forms of state governance (from Middle Ages to the end of 20th century). Participants will acquire basic knowledge of government and legal institutions in Poland. Students will learn about different forms of government.

Week 3 Fragmentation of Poland. Feudalism
Week 4 Restoration of Kingdom. The beginning of parliament in Poland.
Week 5 Jagiellon Dynasty. Kingdom of Poland till 1569
Week 6 Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth – state organization
Week 7 Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth – oligarchy and Golden Liberty
Week 8 The Collapse: Reforms and The Partitions of Poland
Week 9 Duchy of Warsaw. Napoleonic state.
Week 10 Kingdom of Poland
Week 11 I World War and Restoration of Poland
Week 12 Poland in interwar period – from democracy to authoritarianism
Week 13 Poland in WW2 and Government on Exile
Week 14 Communist government in Poland
Week 15 The beginning of Third Republic of Poland
