Natural hazards 07-NH-AMU-PIE

The lecture shows interaction of society and natural hazards such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tsunami and volcanoes. Consideration is given to both, the physical operation and impacts of these phenomena, and how humans evaluate and respond to these threats to their lives and property. Emphasis is put on current events and recent natural disasters.
