Proseminar: Research Project 03-PRP-11CEIPDM
Course learning content:
- formulating research problems and editing potential thesis topics,
- composition of the diploma paper,
- improving competences conerning library, archival and Internet searches; different ways of searching for information and collecting literature on the subject,
- rules of standardized typescript, rules of citation, norms of footnotes,
- preparation and presentation of research project.

Efekty kształcenia
On successful completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- formulate a research problem and write a topic related to it,
- identify what elements a diploma paper should contain,
- find materials needed to prepare a diploma paper respecting copyrights,
- prepare an editorial and graphic layout of the diploma paper,
- prepare and present a research project.
Kryteria oceniania
Assessment criteria:
very good (bdb; 5,0): the student mastered very well formulating research problems, editing the topic of the thesis, knows very well the rules of the thesis composition and is able to adapt them to the topic; is able to efficiently search for materials needed to write the thesis; knows very well the rules governing the graphic layout of the thesis
good plus (+db; 4,5): as above, with minor faults
good (db; 4,0): the student has mastered formulating research problems, editing the thesis topic, knows the rules of the thesis composition and can adapt them to the topic; is able to search efficiently for materials needed to write the thesis; knows very well the rules governing the graphic layout of the thesis
satisfactory plus (+dst; 3,5): the student has mastered formulating research problems, editing the thesis topic, knows the rules of the thesis composition and is able to adapt them to the topic; is able to search for materials needed to write the thesis; knows the rules governing the graphic layout of the thesis
satisfactory (dst; 3,0): the student has mastered formulating research problems, preparing a thesis topic, knows the rules of thesis composition and is able to adapt them to the topic; is able to search for materials needed to write the thesis; knows the rules governing the graphic layout of the thesis, however is not proficient in the required skills
unsatisfactory (ndst; 2,0): the student has not achieved the learning outcomes, he/she is not able to formulate the research problem or to search for materials necessary to write the thesis.
