Professional status:

The graduate of the master’s programme in European Communication possesses thorough knowledge in the domain of the humanities, in the fields of culture and religion sciences, particularly where they are concerned with interpersonal communication, language, functioning of the traditional media and the internet. The graduate understands the principles governing various public institutions, especially their cultural and institutional background. They are also conversant with public institutions construed as media which constitute human communicative activity from a micro-and macro-social standpoints. Furthermore, the graduate of European Communication has the skills which enable them to build social relationships in the mediatic and institutional perspective. Thanks to open, interdisciplinary and practical instruction, they gain competences that enable one to find employment with cultural institutions, in the media or in public relations. The knowledge and the abilities acquired while studying European Communication enhance further development of the graduate’s social competence, with particular emphasis on ethical norms as well as requirements posed by the constantly changing job market. The graduate of the master’s programme is ready to undertake doctoral studies as well as to continue learning otherwise, with a view to gaining new knowledge, skills and competences that ensure further intellectual and scholarly development.
