Professional status:
A graduate of the first cycle of Management studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University will earn the title of – licencjat (Bachelor). The first cycle Management and business law studies aim to prepare the graduates for future work in business organisations and other jobs, or to continue education.
Graduates “management and business law” study will have gained considerable theoretical and practical knowledge of management and related sciences and law focusing on the essence and functioning of business organisations (enterprises, public institutions and state security). They will also be capable of applying that knowledge in their professional career, and act, which is particularly noteworthy, on the principles of ethic. Further, they will be prepared to identify, diagnose and solve problems connected with the human resources management, financial management and information management including legal regulations as well as will be fully capable of performing the basic managerial functions in the above mentioned organisations and institutions in the capacity of a specialist responsible for the organisational process in a business, management specialist, or member of the middle-management in a company. They will also be equipped with the necessary tools to run their own business. Graduates will demonstrate a command of a foreign language at B2 level according to the European Council Common European Framework of Reference for Language System of Assessment of a Foreign Language. Graduates of the first cycle studies are eligible to continue education at the second cycle studies.
