The graduate possesses pedagogical training, knowledge and skills required to work as a teacher, an educator or any other educational employee in special kindergardens, special schools and otherinstitutions for children and adolescents with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disabilitywithin the national education system.
The graduate possesses:
- competence required to work as a teacher in special education kindergartens and special primary schools for children and adolescents with moderate and severe mental disability;
- competence required to work as a teacher in centers which enable children and adolescents with profound mental disability and children and adolescents with multiple disabilities to fulfill the duty of one-year pre-school preparation, the duty of compulsory school education and the duty of studying;
- competence required to conduct revalidation and education activities for children and youth with profound intellectual disability;
The graduate is prepared to work as a special education teacher in kindergardens, schools and other institutions for children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The graduate is qualified to co-organize integration education and co-organize the education of children with intellectual disabilities.
The graduate is prepared to continue studying at MA level and postgraduate level in foreign and domestic institutions of higher education.
