Professional status:
The graduate possesses:
- pedagogical training required to work as a teacher, educator, school pedagogue, teacher-educator in school common rooms and any other pedagogical employee in institutions of the national education system;
- qualifications to work as a teacher in nursery schools and primary schools;
- qualifications to conduct skill development classes and classes developing learning skills;
- qualifications to conduct classes in the field of prophylaxis and pedagogical therapy (didactic – compensatory classes, corrective and compensatory activities) in nursery schools, primary schools and facilities offering pedagogical therapy to children and youth;
- substantive competences to provide pre-school and primary school education in the form of integrated education and classes in the field of pedagogical therapy at primary school level obtained on the basis of the syllabus concordant with the educational standards for the Pedagogy faculty;
- substantive competences to run integration groups and classes at the stage of pre-school and primary school education, and to work in school common rooms and community centres,
- competences enabling the graduate to conduct individualized learning pathways;
- competences to undertake and implement activities within teams providing psychological and pedagogical assistance to children and adolescents with special educational needs in nursery schools, primary schools and other institutions;
- activities developing emotional and social competences,
- qualifications to work as a caregiver in nurseries, day-care centres/kids clubs and as a day-care educator.
