Professional status:

The graduate of the master’s programme in European Communication possesses thorough humanities-oriented knowledge in the field of sciences relating to communication, culture, language, mass and online media, and institutions of public life understood as media which constitute human communication activity on a micro- and macro-social scale. The graduate has the skills which enable them to establish social relationships in mediatic and institutional perspective. This kind of knowledge makes it possible for the graduate to find employment in cultural institutions, in the media or in public relations. The knowledge and skills acquired during the studies serve further development of the graduate’s social competence, with particular emphasis on ethical norms as well as requirements posed by the changing job market. The graduate of the master’s programme is ready to undertake doctoral studies and to continue learning, gaining new knowledge, skills and competences that ensure further intellectual and scholarly development.
