Professional status:
The graduate receives the degree of bachelor in social work. During the studies, s/he acquires knowledge and skills that prepare him/her to carry out social work. The graduate can analyze and assess the phenomena that cause the demand for social benefits from social security. S/he the ability to qualify potential beneficiaries for these benefits. In addition, s/he is prepared to conduct research, diagnostic and prophylactic activities in the field of solving social problems of an individual, family, group and local community. S/he can be the initiator and animator of self-help activities. The graduate can find employment in social welfare institutions and a broadly understood social support system, in state and local government institutions and organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
