The graduate has pedagogical training and qualifications to work as an educator, playing an active role of a social animator – a creative participant of local educational activities, pursuing social and cultural changes within the local environment which strengthen the structures of civil society. He/she is prepared to effectively encourage the members of a community to engage in local activities, self-help or volunteering. He/she has qualifications to professionally animate people on four levels: individuals; local groups/organisations; chains of groups and organisations; public authorities, specialised agencies and business. The graduate may therefore find employment in such establishments as: cultural centres (in towns, municipalities, city districts); day care centres; educational clubs; education and care centres (of socialisation, intervention and family welfare type); social welfare institutions, community self-help homes, youth houses, seniors' clubs; day care centres in hospitals, pediatric wards and hospitals for children; curator's centres; at holiday camps and day camps; in non-governmental organisations working to activate individuals, groups and local communities; in public administration and local authorities.
