Professional status:
The graduation from studies of the first degree for students of Archeology gives an opportunity to practice the profession of the archeologist within the scope of technical work , archeological researches and laboratory-counting works in places gathering the collections of archeological monuments and in conservatory offices, as well as taking up work in cultural , educational and leisure institutions.

Knowledge:
The graduate of Archeology has advanced knowledge of a range of a different eras , regions and science related.
Possesses knowledge of a wide variety of cultural material products as well as various variants of interpretations depending on the context of their retention in soil.
Knows the basic forms and methods of excavation and documentary works.
Has knowledge about different sources enabling the assessment of archeological findings.
Knows the basic forms of preservation of monuments and rules of compiling museum collections.
Skills:
The graduate shows advanced skills of using the achieved knowledge about innovative methods and techniques in archeological works covering data gathering (e. g. invasive and non-invasive methods), their organizing (e.g. chronological sequence and methods of systematizing them) as well as interpreting (methods of structuring narration and integration of the results of research). Linking all of these elements allows students for the evolution of ideas about past cultures and builds the image of the past as the effect of skills obtained during the studies. Moreover the graduate shows skills as far as using modern information technology and knows how to use them in archeological practice .The advanced knowledge
of foreign language is also obtained.
Other skills / attitudes:
The graduate can manage with a complex technical and professional activities or projects and bear responsibility for made decisions.
