Professional status:

The graduate possesses: - training required to work as a teacher, educator or teacher-educator in accordance with the standards of the major (art. 9 par. 2 of the Act from 26th of January 1982 – Teachers` Charter, as amended) in the educational institutions (in accordance with art. 2 of Act on Education System from 7th of September 1991, as amended), on the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 12th of March 2009 on the detailed requirements concerning teacher qualifications and on the definition of schools and cases when teacher with no higher education degrees or teaching qualifications can be employed (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland from 27th of March 2009, No. 50 item 400 as amended), as well as art. 9 par. 2 of the Act from 26th of January 1982 – Teachers` Charter (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2006, No. 97, item 674 as amended); - qualifications to work as an administrative leader (school headmaster, principal) in schools and educational institutions after fulfilling the procedural requirements detailed in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 8th of March 2010 on terms and conditions of the competition on school headmaster in the state schools or in the other state institution as well as on terms and conditions of the competition committee duties and the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 27th of October 2009 on the requirements to become the school headmaster (principal) or any other leader in the state schools and the state educational institutions, - qualifications to work as a school headmaster (principal), administrative leader in non-state schools and in the other educational institutions. Qualifications and competences are being regulated by following legal acts: - Teachers` Charter Act from 26th of January 1982, as amended, - Act on Education System from 7th of September 1991, as amended, - Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 12th of March 2009 on the detailed requirements concerning teacher qualifications and on the definition of schools and cases when teacher with no higher education degrees or teaching qualifications can be employed (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland from 27th of March 2009, No. 50 item 400 as amended), - Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 8th of March 2010 on terms and conditions of the competition on school headmaster in the state schools or in the other state institution, - Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 27th of October 2009 on the requirements to become the school headmaster (principal) or any other leader in the state schools and the state educational institutions.
