Professional status:

The graduate possesses: - pedagogical training required for working as an educator or any other educational employee (in accordance with the Teachers` Charter) within the national education system (in accordance with the Act on the Education of System) on the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 12th of March 2009 on the detailed requirements concerning teacher qualifications and on the definition of schools and cases when teacher with no higher education degrees or teaching qualifications can be employed (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland from 27th of March 2009, No. 50, item 400), as well as art. 9, par. 2 of the Act from 26th of January 1982 – Teachers' Charter (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2006, No. 97, item 674); - pedagogical competence in the field of care-education and prevention activities and socialtherapy; - the ability to diagnose in terms of the knowledge of health, health behaviors and health needs, development, educational of different social groups as well as the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and scenarios of educational, prevention and sociotherapeutic activities within the scope of health education and health promotion; - the ability to make a pedagogical diagnosis in terms of educational and school failure problems and to plan and carry out educational interventions both individual and in a group of children and youth; - competence in psycho-educational help and the area of pedagogical counseling and psycho-education and in supporting parents and teachers in solving educational problems; - competence in health lifestyle promotion, organization and coordination of activities to create a healthy environment for life, work and learning; - professional training for work in educational institutions, institutions of guardianship and upbringing, of protection and support of health, such as schools, sociotherapeutic day care rooms, spas, sanitary-epidemiological stations, family support institutions, institutions supporting child development, non-governmental organizations for people with health problems and physical and mental health disorders (on the basis of: the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 17th of November 2010 on psycho-pedagogical help (supervision) (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland from 2nd of December 2010) and on the basis of art. 22, par. 2, point 11 of the Act from 7 of September 1991 on the system of education (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2004, No. 256, item. 2572 as amended) the Regulation of the Minister of National Education and Sport from 27th of February 2003, the Regulation of the Minister of Health from 30th of September 2002, the Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 12th of March 2009 on detailed teacher`s qualifications).
