The graduate possesses: - pedagogical training required to work as an educator and any other educational employee (in accordance with the Teacher`s Charter) in institutions of the national education system (in accordance with the Education System Act). The degree holder is qualified to work in: - care and education institutions; - environmental care rooms, educational institutions and prophylaxis and educational clubs; - nurseries and children clubs (as a supervisor); - school dormitories, shelters, boarding schools and school care rooms - institutions dealing with the organization of free time for children and support of development of children, youth and elders; - institutions dealing with the assistance for elderly people; - institutions dealing with the support for ill people in the terminal phase of the disease and their families; - centers for the support of children and family. Qualifications and competences are being regulated by following legal acts: - Regulation of the Minister of National Education from 12th of March 2009 on the detailed requirements concerning teacher qualifications and on the definition of schools and cases when teacher with no higher education degrees or teaching qualifications can be employed (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland from 27th of March 2009, No. 50 item 400 with further amendments) , as well as art. 9, act 2 of the Act from 26th of January 1982 – Teacher`s Charter (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 1982, No. 3, item 19 with further amendments); - Act on the Education System from 7th of September 1991 (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 1997, No. 95, item 425). - Act from 4th of February 2011 on child care for children under the age of 3 (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2011, No 45, item 235 with further amendments); - Social Assistance Act from 12th of March 2004 (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of 2004, No. 64, item 593); - Act of June 9th 2011 on Family support and kinship placement under a care order (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland No.149. item 887 with further amendments).
