A graduate in computer science is qualified for solving IT problems and giving opinions on the basis of incomplete or limited information according to law and ethics. He is skilled in staff management and prepared to discuss IT issues with experts as well as with amateurs. He is qualified for a job in IT companies, public administration or for carrying on a business. He is always willing to acquire new skills and receive professional training. He has engineering qualifications, knowledge and skills enabling him quickly learn and use new technologies and tools of IT industry.

Detailed rules of acceptance to particular field of studies are determined by Adam Mickiewicz University Senate Resolution concerning the recruitment procedures for the first year full-time and extra mural studies.
