Professional status:
A graduate of the course has acquired knowledge and skills in general education subjects as well as such fundamental subjects of philosophy as history of philosophy, logic, epistemology and ethics. They have also gained specialist knowledge in the field of history, theory and philosophy of social communication, psychology and sociology of communication, information technology, theory of negotiation, multimedia communication. The course prepares the graduates for various social roles, public services and/or supplement studies undertaken in other fields. A graduate of Philosophy specialising in Social Communication is prepared to continue education within this or any other major. They can work in various governmental and non-governmental institutions as a social communication specialist, theoretician of promotion and marketing, public relation advisor and counsellor for ecological institutions. Having met all the necessary requirements specified by separate regulations, they are also entitled to teach introductory philosophy and ethics in both primary and secondary schools.
