Professional status:

The graduate is prepared to fill the positions requiring formation in biotechnology, mainly medical biotechnology, based on deep knowledge and practical skills that enable to tackle and solve problems on the verge of technology and biology that require an innovative approach. The graduate knows how to use advanced methods of molecular and cell biology as well as bioinformatics, which are essential to the designing of tools applicable in biomedical research and to the development of medical biotechnology. It can independently conduct research in the following areas: searching for innovative forms of therapy for human diseases, developing new-generation medicines, development of regenerative medicine based on stem cells; development and optimization of biotechnological processes; application of nano- and biomaterials in medical biotechnology. The graduate is prepared to continue studies at the doctoral school at domestic and foreign universities.
