Student
- is familiar with available sources of qualitative data, with an emphasis on textual data
- knows the main functions of programmes supporting qualitative data analysis and which programmes are most commonly used
- knows examples of the use of qualitative data analysis software in sociological research
- is able to search, retrieve and analyse qualitative data, with emphasis on textual data
- is able to use Maxqda to retrieve, organize, analyse and visualisation of qualitative and mixed data
- is able to share qualitative analyses made in Maxqda with others, compare and combine results
- is able to cooperate with others in carrying out collaborative analysis of qualitative data and communication of its results
- can make a basic judgement on the quality of the qualitative data encountered and their analysis
