Module learning aims

Transfer of knowledge about the theory underlying social work methods. Analysis of social work methods and techniques supporting their application - acquiring the ability to use social work methods in assistance relations focused on solving problems and building solutions.

Lecture. An occasional discussion during the class that allows students to express their own interpretations about the knowledge presented, the location of the knowledge transmitted during the lecture in their previous competences and skills acquired after the first year of study, among others after apprenticeship in social assistance institutions.

Learning outcomes

In accordance with regarding the effects of education in the field of social work.

Assessment criteria

Continuous assessment by verifying the student's knowledge during lecture discussions regarding problem content. Final grade at the end of the course - test containing closed and open questions, verifying knowledge as well as student's skills and competences.
