Upon completion of the course, the student will (Learning Outcomes; LO):
LO1 Student lists and explains: (a) the criteria which define a close and intimate relationship, (b) the types of close and intimate relationships and their characteristics; (c) the stages of development of relations
LO2 Student determines the importance of close and intimate relationship to the physical
mental health
LO3 Student indicates and characterizes the aspects and processes in close and intimate relationships, and also their qualitative aspects
LO4 Student understands and outlines the role of genetic factors, environmental and individual in a close and intimate relationships
LO5 Student identifies the factors threatening the close and intimate relationships
LO6 Student uses in a reflective and critical manner the concepts of different theoretical background
LO7 Students knows and applies the selected research methods and techniques, and is aware of the ethical aspects of research in the field of close and intimate relationships
LO8 Student knoww the basic principles and techniques used in couple therapy
LO9 Student writes a scientific paper using literature sources in English and / or other foreign languages
LO10 Student is able to work as a team preparing a scientific paper
LO11 Student is able to reflect on the close and intimate relationship and distinguish commonsense knowledge from scientific knowledge

4.5 - very good knowledge, skills and personal and social competence
4.0 - good knowledge, skills and personal and social competence
3.5 - satisfactory knowledge, skills and personal and social competence, but with significant shortcomings
3.0 - satisfactory knowledge, skills and personal and social competence, but with numerous errors
2.0 - unsatisfactory knowledge, skills and personal and social competence
