History of Theatre and Perfomance 20-KUDL-HTW

To let the students be acquainted with the most important and distinct epochs of European and Polish theatre (the epochs of its flourishment), beginning from the prototheatre and performative rituals in ancient Egypt and Greece, and ending at the final phase of Great Theatre Reform in the 1st half of XXth Century. The stress is put here on the functions of theatre and performance in European culture from ancient times till the modernity.
