After the course, the student:
Displays in-depth knowledge of selected aspects within the field of English linguistics, literature studies and culture studies;
Refers this knowledge to broader contexts of English linguistics, literature studies and culture studies;
Critically evaluates the research issues discussed in the course;
Formulates critically-oriented questions in relations to the discussed topics
