1. Introduction to the course: presentation of the syllabus, introduction to scientific-technical translation (PPP) and a discussion on the most common problems and dilemmas technical and scientific translators face (variety of texts, terminology, the role of specialization).

4. Science (3): abstract translation (chemistry), grant application, presentation of research outcomes.

14. FINAL TEST (all topics covered in the course)
