Theory of translation and translation strategies 15-TTIST-TP-11
Aims of the course: to familiarise students with some crucial theoretical concepts related to translation and interpreting; to introduce and discuss the concept of translation strategies; to identify translation strategies in English <> Polish translation; to practice translation with special regard to translation strategies. The course ends with a final test.
