The main learning outcomes:
1. Students will be able to translate business and legal texts
2. Students will have a background knowledge of legal and economic matters
3. Students will be able to create and edit business and legal texts of varied registers
4. Students will have a considerable knowledge of business, finance, economics, and legal vocabulary
Assessment criteria
The final course evaluation criteria:
1. Timely submission of all assignments (both homework and in-class)
2. Active participation in class activities
3. Passing short vocabulary and/or translation quizzes (5-7 min)
4. Two graded translations (one EN-PL, one PL-EN, length c. 250-300 words)
5. Preparation of 2 terminological bilingual glossaries (one EN-PL, one PL-EN)
6. End-of-semester test
