Learning outcomes
• participants will have a grasp of the concepts of descriptive and inferential statistics
• they will understand the philosophical and logical foundations of statistical inference
• they will be able to summarize, graph, and analyze various types of data, so they can conduct such analyses on their own
• they will be able to use R hands-on
• they will be able to read published literature critically when it comes to data analysis methods
