English as a foreign language (Integrated Skills) 15-PNJA-IS-ZL-56

(First semester of a two-semester course. Next semester: 15-PNJA-IS-ZL-66.)

This course is part of the Practical English (PNJA) component, aimed at perfecting the Students' English speaking skills and developing their conversation techniques. Through participation in a variety of group- and pair-oriented tasks Students will practice expressing their opinions on a variety of topics of general interest in a logical, coherent and grammatically accurate form.

Module learning aims

(in Polish) 1. Doskonalenie umiejętności formułowania poprawnych gramatycznie, spójnych wypowiedzi na zadany temat. 2. Rozwijanie technik konwersacyjnych przy użyciu zróżnicowanych form i środków wypowiedzi. 3. Poprawne posługiwanie się językiem angielskim na poziomie akademickim, przy użyciu adekwatnego słownictwa i różnorodnych rejestrów.
