Modern technologies in teaching English 15-NTWDJA-ZU-2-11
The main aim of the course is to familiarize students with the concept of e-learning and the use of online tools in education. The course will be divided into five stages:
1. Introduction to e-learning: concepts, facts, the future of education.
2. Operating systems and hardware in the school setting.
3. E-learning platforms, applications and online tools for educational purposes.
4. Cloud computing and its role in online education.
5. Copyright issues.
During classes, students will be presented with an overview of the concepts being the part of the each of the stages (including discussion about strengths and weaknesses of various solutions). Students’ grades will depend on the score gained during a test which will take place after all the theoretical concepts have been discussed.
