Module learning aims

The course aims to offer the Student descriptive knowledge in English phonetics and elements of phonology. It contains the basic terminology of the field. It aims to develop the Student's ability to analyse language phenomena. It also teaches the skills needed to read basic sources in phonetics and phonology. The course allows the Student to develop the skill to recognize and analyse similarities and differences between languages within the realm of phonetics and phonology.
