Module learning aims
(in Polish) Place Central Asia in its broader historical context from ancient until modern times
Understand some essential political processes of the region through a diachronic lens.
Possess in-depth knowledge about the main characteristics and elements of every Central Asian country (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Uzbekistan)
Understand the geopolitical importance of the region and the politics of the three great powers (US, Russia and the PRC)
Understand that the CA countries are not only objects of great power politics, but are active players in their own right.
Possess enough background knowledge to independently continue research on almost every political aspect of CA.
