making people aware of the role of creative inspiration in building a design idea and creating ideally coherent collections of spatial forms,
 researching the needs of a selected social group in the context of designing functional artistic forms,
 developing the process of designing elements modifying the immediate human environment,
 designing and prototyping artistic forms of clothing and jewelery
 providing students with basic technological and construction knowledge in the process of designing utility objects in accordance with the ergonomics of the figure.
 shaping the skill of prototyping ideally coherent collections of artistic spatial forms
 creating a set of works that are part of the artistic (supporting) diploma collection,
 preparation of team cooperation processes,
 shaping a creative attitude in professional and social life, organizing exhibitions, workshops and other artistic projects in the field of presenting design arts.

Module learning aims

Searching for a new artistic form of a functional nature with the use of original means of expression and workshop methods, in the process of creating your own collection of works. Combining knowledge and experience with creative intuition and imagination aimed at creating an artistic creation that is in the relationship between people, clothes and surroundings. Designing and prototyping clothes and silhouette styling objects or interior design elements. Ability to work in a group.

Methods of teaching for learning outcomes achievement

Design concept art workshops, analysis of design concepts, savings analysis, correction of individual visualization and visualization. Exercises in the architectural studio and clothing prototyping, experimenting with matter, practicing with the material selected for the implementation of the design concept, proofreading, working with graphic programs and a design workshop in the studio and at home. Technical elaboration and projects. Workshop on modeling on a dummy. Creating project prototypes. Work in a garment workshop.

Practical placement
