The history of education 11-HISW-11-pw-s

The student receives basic knowledge within the scope of history of education from broad, interdisciplinary perspective.
The student is able to carry out critical analysis of a historical source. They are capable of connecting source facts with interdisciplinary knowledge based on the achievements of pedagogy, history, sociology and philosophy.
In the analysis of historical phenomena they use broad context of social, political and economic conditioning. They easily express their opinions and draw conclusions in writing. They prepare footnotes and bibliography correctly.
They have the skill of reading with understanding scientific texts and source texts, of summarizing and commenting them; of correct use of scientific terminology; of constructing quite long written and oral texts; of collecting and using scientific information; of systematizing detailed knowledge, of comparing facts from the past with the present day situation, of comparing various theoretical concepts; of recapitulating and summing up discussions; of drawing conclusions.

Module learning aims

1. The Objective Of the training C1 transfer of basic knowledge of the history of education in the broad, interdisciplinary approach C2 to develop skills of critical analysis of historical sources and skills combine with interdisciplinary knowledge source facts based on the achievements of pedagogy, history, sociology, philosophy, psychology. C3 prepare for the proper use of a wide range of social, political, economic considerations context in the analysis of historical phenomena C4 development of application of skills learned in the statements of interpretation and formulation of requests in writing C5 manufacturing skills correctly preparing footnotes and bibliography of pledging C6 develop communication skills and group work C7 develop skills-reading comprehension research, and source texts, summarizing and commenting on them; -correct use of scientific terminology; construction of long speeches and written works; -the collection and use of scientific information; -organize a thorough knowledge, comparing the facts of the past with the current situation; comparison of different theoretical approaches; summarize discussion; drawing conclusions.

Assessment criteria

-ex-post evaluation (P) is actively involved in activities, discussion during the exercisies,
-evaluation of the forming (F) is proposed by the student of literature needed to develop a semester work
-ex-post evaluation (P) presented by a student semester work
-ex-post evaluation (P) degree of depletion of the oral expression/written questions asked during a seminar on the test and exam
Rating scale:
5 -excellent knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies
4.5 – very good knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies
4.0 – good knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies
3.5-satisfactory knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies, but with significant shortcomings
3.0-satisfactory knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies, but with many errors
2.0-unsufficient knowledge, skills and personal and social competencies
