Learning outcomes
After completing the course student should be able to:
- elaborate on major aspects of contemporary Turkish literature,
- describe major literary works of contemporary Turkish literature,
- describe characteristics of contemporary Turkish poetry,
- identify major authors of contemporary Turkish literature and name their literary works,
- analyze literary works in historical and literary context,
- independently interpret new literary works basing on previously analyzed texts,
- use literary sources and dictionaries, including materials in foreign languages,
- be aware of cultural differences in understanding basic concepts, such as God, love, suffering and be opened to intercultural dialogue
