Students:
1. Gain the basic knowledge of: chronological development of Indian literatures; classical Indian literature in Sanskrit and its influence on the development of Tamil and Hindi literature.
2. Gain the understanding of: inspiration and interrelations between different literary traditions of the Indian subcontinent (Sanskrit, Tamil and Hindi).
3. Gain the skills necessary to: name important authors and their works in Sanskrit, Tamil and Hindi
