Practical knowledge of second specialist language 09-PRNJII-36

After the course the student:
Can use the course vocabulary in speaking and in writing and adapt it to communication context
Is able to write and read selected signs of the writing system
Can use selected grammar structures appropriately in a communication context (B1 level)
Translates and analyses texts as regards grammar and pragmatic content (B1 level)
Can understand basic conversations in clear and standard language in conversations concerning work, school, university, free time etc (B1 level)
Can communicate in writing and create correct texts in a form of a letter and an essay
Is familiar with the basic grammar terminology
Is able to use by themselves various sources of information concerning writing, vocabulary and grammar of the language of specialization in a scope wider than the content of teaching

Term assessment based on a series of control written tests.
Max. 2 absencies allowed per semester.
The final grade based on the result of the final examination in an oral and written form.

Delivered by the lecturer depending on the language taught.
