Iberian Language - Portuguese 09-PORTHISP-13
After finishing the course the student is able to use the Portuguese language on the upper intermediate level. He/She deals well with the basic and more advanced grammatical structures, such as, Conjuntivo, Infinitivo Pessoal, Pronomes com Verbos. In spite of the structural and functional knowledge of the language, the students get to know the most important phenomena present in the culture of the lusophonic countries (p. eg. Fado, Portuguese language diversity, everyday life of the Portuguese people, famous Portuguese people). The students get to know some important literature texts in Portuguese.
After finishing the classes the student must be prepared to pass to the higher communicative level in using the language within all the competences. He/She should be prepared to understand written texts of many kinds, including literature. The students must have the knowledge about the selected issues related to culture, history and literature of the lusophonic countries.
