Practical knowledge of Thai 09-PNJT-WT-26
The students start the course with zero knowledge of Thai. Therefore, the course is designed to teach the basics of the language and gradually develop the students’ proficiency in all areas: speaking, writing and translation into Polish and Thai.

After the course the student:
Can use the course vocabulary in speaking and in writing and adapt it to communication context
Is able to write and read selected signs of the writing system
Can use selected grammar structures appropriately in a communication context (A2 level)
Translates and analyses texts as regards grammar and pragmatic content (A2 level)
Can understand single common sentences and expressionsrelated to everyday life (A2 level)
Can communicate in writing and create correct texts in a form of a letter and an essay
Is familiar with the basic grammar terminology
Assessment criteria
Term assessment based on: a series of control written tests.
Max. 2 unexcused absencies allowed per semester.
The final grade based on the result of the final examination in an oral and written form.
