A1 learning (in compliance with coursebook) the relevant parts of German grammar; ability to describe and compare these structures and their functional equivalents as well as use them in communication A2 developing the ability to identify, use, analyse, transform, describe and compare morphological and syntactic structures of German A3 developing awareness of intra- and interlingual interference A4 developing ability to critically read literature on the topic and to prepare synopses

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- use the rules of grammar as taught in exercises and tries to apply them in communication
- understand and apply the basic concepts of grammar as taught and to compare (through teaching of common elements) the possibilities of German - demonstrate acquisition of the material covered K_W03
- independently seek out, analyse and select information on the terminology and grammar models of German grammar
- effectively use methods and tools taught in the morphological analysis of selected structures and critically assess their accuracy as well as present sound arguments
- comprehend their knowledge level and of the need for ongoing learning and be able to do this independently
