a) Acquisition of basic theoretical knowledge in the field of literature, literary methodology and literary research.
b) Introduction to the History of European and Modern Greek Literature
i) historical development (chronology and eras),
ii) literary currents
iii) literary features (metrics, genres [poetry, prose, drama])
Assessment criteria
Continus monthly control (written) & b) A final written exam in the end of the academic year
The prerequisite for student is to take the witten exam and obtain results from a minimum of 60%. The student is also required to participate in the classes. He has the right to two unexcused absences per semester.
