Student: 1. gains basic knowledge of: the multidimensionality of the notion of culture (in this case Welsh culture) 2. gains the understanding of: the historical context and cultural conditioning in Wales 3. gains the skills necessary to: identify markers of national identity, summarize scholarly articles as well as comment upon them; take part in class discussions, conduct library query and research; contextualise acquired knowledge; draw conclusions; work with others.
