Students gain knowledge of the Lithuanian phonetics and phonology: the way of generation sounds of Lithuanian language; word stress and syllable intonations; the phonological system of vocals and consonants, neutralization of oppositions.
Verbal and nominal categories of the Lithuanian language, their formal expression and usage (tense, aspect, mood, case, definiteness, number)
Verbal and nominal derivation,
Selected topics of syntax (participial and infinitival constructions, e.g. supinum and budinys, focus markers and other particles, coordination vs. subordination)

Tets and two exams every two semesters.
