Student: 1. gains basic knowledge of: the development of the idea of Europe; the history of European integration; the theory of integration; the structure, functioning and politics of the European Union; the Polish membership of the European Union; 2. gains the understanding of: the historical development of the idea of Europe and of European integration; basic concepts of integration theory; the structure, functioning and directions of political activity of the European Union; the features of Polish membership of the European Union; 3. gains the skills necessary to: discuss historical processes; use properly the terminology connected with the history of the idea of Europe, the history and theory of integration, as well as with the functioning of European institutions; systematize information and deepen knowledge; draw conclusions.
