Knowledge of the subject of ethnicity in contemporary world and main issues related to kinship, family and marriage from anthropological perspective. Recognizing new directions of anthropology development on the example of applied anthropology. Knowledge of main rites and customs in chosen non European cultures and ability to explain their meaning. Ability for anthropological interpretation of symbolism, magic and religion. Knowledge of basic enculturation/ socialization processes and their social implications. Ability to recognize main implications of colonialism in terms of the development of anthropology and certain cultures/societies in the world. Knowledge of the research methods of anthropology. Knowledge of the definitions of ethnocentrism and its manifestations.
