Students become familiar with the work of chosen social service institutions: their rules, goals, programs, customers, ways of help. Visiting and observing these institutions help students get in touch with professional social workers and social service customers, gain practical abilities and knowledge of social service as a profession. Students increase their awareness of social service workers and effective work conditions.
